Western Bulldogs midfielder Liam Picken has shot to the top of the AFLCA leaderboard after another dominant finals performance.

Along with teammates Marcus Bontempelli,and Jack Macrae, Picken was awarded eight out of a possible ten votes by coaches Luke Beveridge and Alistair Clarkson following the Club’s 23-point win over the Hawks.

Picken is averaging 23.5 disposals and 8.5 marks in the 2016 finals series, and kicked three goals as his side advanced to a preliminary final date with Greater Western Sydney and Spotless Stadium on Saturday.

Josh Dunkley and Tom Liberatore were also among the votes, both polling one each.

The Western Bulldogs hold four of the top seven spots in the race for the 2016 Gary Ayres Award at the conclusion of week two of the 2016 finals series.
