Midfielder Lukas Webb took the honours for the Bulldogs courtesy of his 32 possessions, seven tackles and two goals in the six-point loss.

The 20-year-old looms as a potential replacement for injured pair Mitch Wallis (broken leg) and Jack Redpath (knee) following his standout game.

Fellow onballer Mitch Honeychurch also re-entered selection calculations with his 28 disposals, while Jed Adcock and Nathan Hrovat were prominent with 26 touches and one goal apiece.

It was Hrovat's first appearance since injuring the AC joint in his right shoulder in the VFL early last month.
